The Fifth Season Inn & Suites in Amarillo is the headquarters
facility for the 2007 Frontiers in Writing conference. Call 806-358-
7881 and mention “Frontiers in Writing” to get one of the recently
redecorated rooms at the conference rate of $79 per night. All
meetings and meal functions will occur at the hotel.
The Fifth Season is located on I-40, on the south side, between
the exits for Bell and Coulter. Coming from the east, exit at
Coulter (exit #65) and take the loop under the freeway to gain
access to the south frontage road. Continue on the frontage road
for a short distance until you see the Fifth Season sign. Coming
from the west, exit at Coulter (exit #65) and continue on the
frontage road through the stop light and past Coulter Street until
you see the Fifth Season sign.
The conference hotel is on the eastern edge of the retail and
commercial area of west Amarillo. Over two million square feet of
shopping and more restaurants than you could sample in two
weeks are located within five minutes of the hotel. Several
restaurants are within easy walking distance.
